How to configure Microsoft Outlook 2007 (POP3)

  1. Open Microsoft outlook 2007 and select Tools >> Account Settings from the file menu at the top. mail1
  2. Select New… from the Email tab. mail21
  3. Check Manually configure server settings or additional server types and then click Next. mail3
  4. Select Microsoft Exchange, POP3, IMAP, or HTTP and then click Next. mail4
  5. Email setting
    • Enter your name and e-mail address in the User Information field.
    • Choose POP3 for Account Type.
    • Enter Incoming mail server and Outgoing mail server (SMTP) address
    • Enter your Username (without @megawisra.com) in the User Name field along with your password in the Password field.
    • Be sure to check Remember Password if you do not wish to be prompted for your password every time you check your email.

  6. Authenticated SMTP and finished
  • Click the More Settings… and select the Outgoing Server tab.
  • Check the box next to My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication.
  • Select the Use same settings as my incoming mail server radio button then click OK.
  • Click Next, then Finish and finally, close the Account Settings window.
