How to Map Network Drives in Mac OS X

- In Finder, Select Go from the Finder menu
- Select Connect to Server
- The window below will appear

- To map your drive, type in the following address:

smb://servername/share_drive_name or smb://ip_address/share_drive_name

- Click the |+| sign at the end of the address field to add the drive address to your list of favourites

- Once the drive address has been added to the favourites list, select the drive you wish to connect to, highlighting it, and press Connect

- You will be able to navigate to the drive using Finder
