How to reset Mac OS X network configuration to factory default; MacBook Air unable to connect to DNS

Recently i found that there is problem with MacBook Air AirPort. My MacBook Air able to connect to the WIFI through our AirPort Extreme but it fail to get the DNS from the AirPort Extreme.
Yesterday i did troubleshoot this issue, i try to reset the Mac OS X network configuration to factory default. The problem was solved.
In order to reset the network settings back to factory default. First, we have to remove/rename a preference file and restart the machine. On boot the system will recreate the preference file from its default sources.
To do this, I renamed the file:
/Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration/preferences.plist
/Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration/preferences.plist.bak
After that, just delete the preferences.plist file and restart your machines.
I hope this post will help you solve your problem.
