<p><span id="more-2196"></span>Among all the software that i mention above, i tried to read .epub ebook using Adobe Digital Edition on my Mac OS X machines. It work fine for me.</p>
<p>Below are the few step to show how to install Adobe Digital Edition :-</p>
<ul>
<li><a href="http://www.adobe.com/products/digitaleditions/">Download</a> Adobe Digital Edition</li>

It consumes a small part of the memory but surely a useful one. It consumes around 1.5 Megabytes of computer memory and 2 Megabytes of virtual memory. It also initiates I/O processes frequently if those columns are activated in the Task Manager.<span id="more-2078"></span></p>
<p><a href="http://www.techkaki.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/03/task-manager-jqs-exe.jpg"><img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-2082" title="task manager jqs-exe" src="http://www.techkaki.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/03/task-manager-jqs-exe.jpg" alt="" width="401" height="173" /></a></p>
<p>So, you might wondering what this process <strong>Jqs.exe</strong> is and what it is doing in your system. Is it virus??</p>
<p>Jqs.exe is a process related to Java. <strong>JQS</strong> stand for <strong>Java Quick Starter.</strong><strong> Java Quick Starter (JQS)</strong> improves initial startup time for most Java applets and applications. This feature was added to Java in release Java SE 6 update 10 (6u10) and will be available in all future releases.</p>
<p>Although JQS will improve your Java performance.  It is better to disable it if you not frequently deal with <strong>Java applets </strong>to keep more of your RAM free especially for those use the slow performance machine.</p>
<p><strong>Steps to disable it</strong></p>
<p>Surely the process is useless for someone who does not deal that frequently with <strong>Java applets </strong>and thus should disable it.</p>
<p>•    To disable just visit the <strong>Control Panel </strong>and open the Java entry.</p>
<p>•    Now go to Advanced tab and look for the Miscellaneous entry below.</p>
<p><strong>Steps to disable Java Quick Starter (JQS.exe):</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Click Start.</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Click Control Panel.</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Double click on Java Control Panel.</li>
</ul>
<p><a href="http://www.techkaki.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/03/control-panel.jpg"><img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-2085" title="control panel" src="http://www.techkaki.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/03/control-panel.jpg" alt="" width="494" height="411" /></a></p>
<ul>
<li>Click Advance tab in Java Control Panel.</li>
</ul>
<p><a href="http://www.techkaki.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/03/Java-Control-Panel.png"><img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-2086" title="Java Control Panel" src="http://www.techkaki.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/03/Java-Control-Panel.png" alt="" width="447" height="500" /></a></p>
<ul>
<li>Under Miscellaneous entry</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Uncheck the check box for Java Quick Starter.</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Click Apply and Ok. After that, restart your system.</li>
</ul>
<p>To verify, just open your Windows Task Manager (by pressing <strong>CTRL+ALT+DEL</strong>). You will noticed <strong>JQS.exe</strong> not appear anymore.:-)</p>
